The Platform is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us immediately for deletion.

By creating an account or using InterviewShine in any capacity, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service in full. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and InterviewShine ("Company", "we", "us") governing your access to and use of the Platform. By registering an account, signing in with Google, or using any feature of the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read these Terms, that you understand them, and that you agree to be bound by them.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and to keep this information updated. Providing false information may result in immediate account termination.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Platform or any feature at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Platform.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at our sole discretion if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the Platform in a manner that could harm other users or the Company. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

Practice Credits are the unit of measurement for daily AI usage on the Platform. Every time you use an AI-powered feature — including but not limited to Mock Interview, Hot Seat, Spotlight, Quick Fire, and Ask Your Question — it consumes Practice Credits from your daily allowance. Heavier features such as full Mock Interview sessions with personalised feedback consume more credits per session than lighter features.
150 Practice Credits per day is designed to comfortably accommodate 4–5 hours of continuous active practice for a single user. Daily credits reset at midnight Indian Standard Time (IST, UTC+5:30). Unused credits do not carry over to the following day.
Plans are activated upon successful payment and code entry or automated activation via our payment gateway. Plan validity begins from the date and time of activation, not from the date of purchase. We are not responsible for delays caused by user error in activation.
The Platform is intended for individual personal use only. Sharing accounts, sharing access credentials, using automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Platform is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination without refund. The daily Practice Credits limit exists to ensure fair access for all users and to prevent misuse through account sharing.

InterviewShine is an AI-powered practice and coaching tool. We do not guarantee, warrant, or represent that use of the Platform will result in any specific outcome, including but not limited to: job offers, interview success, salary increases, improved performance in actual interviews, or any professional advancement.
The effectiveness of interview preparation depends entirely on the individual user's effort, consistency, dedication, natural aptitude, the specific requirements of the employer or interviewer, market conditions, and numerous other factors entirely outside our control. Results will vary significantly from user to user.
You acknowledge and agree that any improvement in interview performance or any other outcome is dependent solely upon how diligently and consistently you practice using the Platform. InterviewShine makes no guarantee or warranty of any kind regarding results.
You confirm that you are using the Platform entirely of your own free will, with full knowledge and awareness of what the Platform does and does not offer. You have not been misled, coerced, or induced by any false representation into using the Platform. You are providing all information — including your name, email address, voice recordings, and answers — knowingly and voluntarily.
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
Feedback, scores, suggestions, and all other content generated by the AI on this Platform are for practice and educational purposes only. AI-generated feedback may contain inaccuracies, errors, or subjective assessments. Such feedback should not be treated as professional career advice, psychological counseling, or a guaranteed evaluation of your actual abilities. We are not liable for any decisions you make based on AI-generated feedback.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, InterviewShine, its founders, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for:
In any event, our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless InterviewShine and its founders, affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any content you submit through the Platform.
You agree that you will not use the Platform to:
Violation of any of the above may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund and may expose you to civil or criminal liability under applicable Indian law.
All content on the Platform including but not limited to the brand name InterviewShine, the application design, user interface, question banks, debate topics, coaching scripts, AI prompts, graphics, and all other creative content are the exclusive intellectual property of InterviewShine and are protected under applicable Indian intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
You retain ownership of any original content you submit through the Platform, including your voice recordings and typed answers. By submitting this content, you grant InterviewShine a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, process, and analyze this content solely for the purpose of providing the Platform's services to you. We will not use your personal content for advertising or sell it to third parties.
All prices displayed on the Platform are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Price changes will not affect plans already activated.
Payments are processed securely through Razorpay or other authorized payment gateways. We do not store your payment credentials. By making a payment, you also agree to the terms and conditions of the respective payment processor.
Given the nature of the Platform as a digital service that provides immediate access to AI-powered features upon activation, all purchases are final and non-refundable, except in the following circumstances:
To request a refund under the above circumstances, contact us at the email in Section 9 within 7 days of the issue occurring, with proof of payment. We will review and respond within 5 business days.
Plans expire on the date indicated at activation. Expired plans revert to Free tier access automatically. There is no automatic renewal. You must purchase a new plan to continue paid access after expiry.
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us to resolve the issue is a violation of these Terms and may result in permanent account suspension.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including but not limited to the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Indian Contract Act, 1872, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India. You consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.
Before initiating any legal proceedings, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at the email address in Section 9. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes amicably within 30 days of receiving written notice of the dispute.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and InterviewShine regarding the Platform and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
